Our commitment to the community

Helping people is what we do. So each year, Bloomfield Wealth Corporation gives consideration to what’s happening in our communities in order to decide on the action we take to help impact our world for the better.

The COVID-19 global pandemic really influenced our decision on how we selected the charities we chose to support as a part of our 2021 charitable commitment. It was reported by The Health Charities Coalition of Canada that its member charities have reported donations have fallen by more than 50%. Physical distancing has caused many major fundraising events, such as walkathons and galas to be cancelled, and although there have been efforts put towards virtual events, they haven’t been able to yield close to the usual amounts of donations. This made it a clear decision for us to focus our efforts on supporting the healthcare sector.
